Day of Service Celebrations!

October 18, 2019

Dear Families,

What a week! It's been busy and fun!

DISTRICT UPDATES

CELEBRATING OUR SUCCESSES
To celebrate the success of the Day of Service and our community’s dedication, both schools
did fun events for the kids this week!

Lotus--Petting Zoo for all the students to enjoy. And look what our Principals did!!!

Stanton--Performance of “Old Town Road” for the whole school by Billy Ray Cyrus (Jeff Sefcik) and
Lil Nas X (Lemar Wilson--Art teacher at Stanton).. This was an AMAZING performance!
Click here to see the video, as it was featured in the Daily Herald!

LATE START SCHEDULE
In preparation for inclement weather, we’re THRILLED to announce that we’ve developed a new
option for nasty weather days! We’ll now have a delayed start plan. The other surrounding districts
have this as an option, and--since we all make closure decisions together--this allows us to have the
same options as Grant, Big Hollow, and Gavin!

If needed, the late start schedule will be as follows:
LOTUS SCHOOL
9:00AM-2:20PM, No AM Preschool

STANTON SCHOOL
