Dear Families,
We had a week of POWERFUL learning for all! Our students worked hard--as always--to learn and grow. This week, however, our staff had two chances to learn even MORE! On Wednesday, Maria Nielsen was here to work with teams in coaching conversations and then with our full staff--all focused on engaging our learners and making instruction even more exciting. Today during Institute Day, author Pete Hall joined us to help us all learn more about helping our kids build grit, resilience, and perseverance. What a GREAT week!!!!

BUS EXPECTATIONS
Our Transportation team worked together to develop the bus expectations list you'll see below. It's also attached to this week's email. We'd sure appreciate it if you could review these expectations at home, too!
BOARD OF EDUCATION MEETING
The D114 Board of Education will hold its October meeting at STANTON on Tuesday night starting at 7:00PM. We'll be taking a tour of the fabulous new Exploratory classes (Art, Music, Spanish, and STEM) as well as having discussions on facilities improvements, student data, and policies and processes in place for dealing with bullying. Feel free to join us!
